What a great article! I love the fact that you brought up "The Americas" - that, "The Blacklist" and "Homeland" are 3 shows that I tell people that people need to see because they show exactly how the US Government and essentially, all governments around world, are all ran by all the "same people" and probably even more accurately, the same types of people. I don't necessarily watch TV, per se (and I will never pay for it to feed that beast) but I tend to find these types of shows on Blu Ray as cheap as possible when I can -- unfortunately, The Americans was never released on Blu Ray so the only hd versions I've seen are via streaming. I suppose jailbreaking and using Kodi or something like that would always work too...
Anyway, excellent article and a great reminder to appreciate the country we do live in even with all the nonsense going on with "data centers" and the whole Iran and Israel situation -- too many people, including myself at times, get the frustrations towards the government and the country/people intertwined and I think that stems from the utter ignorance that we're all still seeing from the general public that it HAS to be willful at this point.
I appreciate your perspective. I have not traveled abroad since 2012 since all the nonsense and invasion of privacy. So I drive this beautiful USA . Many places still to explore here homeside.
I have lived in California since 1963 and it's so beautiful, but during rona madness I was banned from participating in anything in my retirement community - even from golf which is outdoors - due to my vx status. Gov Newsom banned outdoor dining in addition to indoor dining at one point, while he dined indoors without masks. My son, a father of two, was fired at Christmas time where he had given 20 years because he refused the death shot. So he followed his sister to Texas and when I went to visit I was like a giddy kid because I got to go to a restaurant. Texas even offered parents a chance to file exemptions to vaccines that were forced on children in California. So yes some parts of USA weren't taken over by the covid brain worm, but blue democratic areas were absolutely despotic. I'm still experiencing PTSD from it and can't believe how many people turned into zombies and petty tyrants even here in the good ol USA.
And by the way my son is involved in a lawsuit against what was done to him. If there is justice, he and all the others will prevail. But Fauci and Newsom are still walking free
Great article. I moved to SoCal and even with a bunch of retards running the state gov and certain cities, all you have to do travel a short distance away from communist LA and see that living with opportunity, cleanliness, and beauty is a better choice than ugliness and societal suicide.
With that being said, I love the rest of country and recognize that there are so many hard working, fun loving, Americans who crush and the lies we’ve been fed since 9/11 are fake and gay being pushed by fake and gay people.
Love this country. Love visiting other countries. Would never leave this place for anywhere else
Great observations, excellent read just before the 4th of July.

Of course, that's a whole separate topic....

The ease of travel here is so amazing and there is so much to see.

Living in the uk the guns part is by a mile the main reason I’m gonna try and leave over the next half a decade

Well said. I haven’t attached a government to my self image in a long time.
It totally makes a difference. Where we live in MO there’s no crime because everyone has a peacemaker on their hip!
Peacemaker, lol. But its true!
